Soaking & Conditioning
The initial step in the poha manufacturing process involves soaking the paddy for a duration of 2-24 hours. Once the specified soaking time has elapsed, the water is drained, and the paddy undergoes a conditioning process for a period of 2-3 hours.

Roasting
The paddy undergoes a crucial step known as roasting. This step involves subjecting the rice grains to controlled heat, enhancing their flavor, texture, and overall quality. The roasting can be performed using different methods, including the utilization of sand or without it, depending on regional preferences and traditional practices.

Flaking
After the paddy undergoes the roasting process, it is directed to the flakers, which play a crucial role in transforming the roasted paddy into thin, long, and flaked rice. Flakers are specialized machines designed to gently crush the roasted paddy grains, using pressure and rolling mechanisms.

Storage Process
